Dr. Kamil Yazicioglu M.D., D.O.M.T.P

I was born in Balıkesir in 1963. I graduated from Gülhane Military Medical School in 1987. I became a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist in 1994. I worked at Bursa Military Hidroclimatology Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital for two years. I attended to Gülhane Military Medical Academy Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department as an Assistant Professor in 1996. I became University Associate Professor in 1999 and attended to the Turkish Armed Forces Rehabilitation and Care Center in 2000. I attended as Professor in the same department and hospital in 2005.

I became a Medical Pain Specialist in 2011 as well as becoming a certified kinesio taping instructor. My interests include Pain Medicine, Osteopathic Manual Medicine, Ozone Therapy, invasive algological interventions, ozone injections, and kinesio taping. I am also an instructor at the Turkish Health Ministry for Ozone Courses.

I am a member of the International Society of Spinal Cord Injury (ISCoS), International Society of Prosthesis and Orthosis (ISPO), the Turkish Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association, Turkish League Against Rheumatism, Spinal Cord Diseases Association and the Turkish Scientific Association of Prosthesis and Orthosis.

Additionally, I am a part-time lecturer at the Middle East Technical University on disability and health policy as well as the founder of the Turkish Armed Forces Rehabilitation Disabled Sports Team and amputee football in Turkey. Currently, I am Dean and full professor in Sports Sciences Faculty at the Istanbul Topkapi University.
