About The Osteopathic College of Ontario (OCO)

The mission of the Osteopathic College of Ontario is to provide the highest quality education and treatment utilizing osteopathic principles and practice while promoting a forum for the continued advancement of osteopathic thought.

This mission is accomplished by providing education and treatment in our facilities in Canada and the United States, and through our many International Diplomate Programs in Osteopathy offered in Europe, Asia, and Africa as well as Dr. Sanet’s lecture series across the United States and abroad.

Among the many manipulative therapy courses taught by OCO are:

  • Visceral Manipulative Therapy
  • Myofascial Release Technique
  • Facilitated Positional Release
  • Functional Technique
  • Lymphatic Activation
  • Muscle Energy Technique
  • Counterstrain Technique
  • Osteoarticular Technique
  • Ligamentus Articular Strain
  • Balanced Ligmentus Tension
  • Comphensive Intregration

In addition to the courses mentioned, OCO sponsors internships offering students from around the world one-on-one, hands-on osteopathic training in a clinical setting. We also sponsor study groups, allowing healthcare practitioners an enlightened and nurturing environment to further enhance their abilities as healers.

The Osteopathic College of Ontario (OCO) was founded by Steven Sanet, D.O. as an alternative for those suffering from pain and illness within the current health system, and as an educational center devoted to teaching gentle, osteopathic techniques that allow the body to heal itself.
